Meet Alun…

Alun joined the CB team in 2017 as a Contracts Planning Administrator.  With a background in transport refrigeration and planning, Alun was able to immerse himself in both the company and his new role.

The planning role is vital to the business in terms of maintaining communication and operations for the day to day scheduling of on-site engineers. The role involves scheduling works and taking calls from customers and engineers in order to maintain integrated schedules of project activities, whilst considering business critical and emergency work priorities and the associated resource requirements.

Alun works closely and collaboratively with all the CB team (both on and off-site) to provide a visible work programme for the engineering teams and coordinate and communicate any changes that arise, to minimise the impact on delivery.

Alun commented:

“I have to make sure I plan and organise engineer workload to achieve on-time support. It’s a busy role as I need to constantly track and update our teams both verbally and through our online planning programme, so they are up to date and aware with the status of each job. We are then able to convey this information to our customers.”
