Under EU Fgas Regulations, it is the responsibility of the operator/owner of refrigeration equipment to keep records. All equipment must be labelled with the type and amount of refrigerant held within the system. Equipment with 3kg or more of refrigerant is required by law to have an annual leak test.An Fgas log of equipment must be kept detailing work completed, by whom, when and why, including quantities of refrigerant removed/added and what was done with the removed refrigerant. Fgas log to be accessible and available on request by relevant authority. Only certificated companies with qualified personnel should carry out the work.
